Privacy Policy

What we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

01Who we are

This website is operated by BG Innovations LLC ("BG Innovations", "we", "us"), an injection mold design consulting company based in Campbellsville, Kentucky. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website, including our online store for digital guides, consultation booking, contact forms and chat assistant.

02Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the site and serve you:

  • Account details: your name, email address, company (optional) and a securely hashed password when you create an account or buy a guide.
  • Order details: the guides you buy, order totals, coupon codes and order dates. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Consultation requests: your name, email, phone number, company, preferred date and time, and any project notes you share.
  • Messages: what you send through the contact form, and any email address you type into the chat assistant.
  • Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe.
  • Technical data: your browser sends basic information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested. Our hosting provider records this in standard server logs for security and troubleshooting.

Please don't send us confidential drawings or proprietary data through website forms. We'll arrange a secure way to share files, and an NDA if needed, once we talk.

  • To create and secure your account and deliver the guides you buy
  • To process payments and send receipts
  • To schedule and confirm consultations
  • To answer your questions and messages
  • To send the newsletter, if you subscribed (every email has an unsubscribe link)
  • To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and fix problems
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

04Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and browser storage items:

  • Essential (always on): a session cookie that keeps you signed in and protects forms from misuse, plus browser storage for your cart, your light or dark mode choice and your cookie preferences. The site can't work without these.
  • Analytics (only with your consent): if we add a site analytics tool, it will only run after you choose "Accept all" or turn analytics on in Cookie settings.
  • Marketing (only with your consent): we don't currently use advertising cookies. If that changes, they will only run with your consent.

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, or by clearing your browser's cookies and site data.

05Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only what they need:

  • Stripe processes payments (see stripe.com/privacy)
  • Our web host stores the website, database and email
  • Professional advisers such as our accountant or attorney, when needed

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.

06How long we keep it

We keep account and order records for as long as your account is open, and order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require (usually up to seven years). Messages and consultation requests are kept as long as they're useful for your project. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to those legal requirements.

07Security

The site uses HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, protected sessions and restricted access to stored files. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and let us know right away if you think your account has been misused.

08Your choices and rights

You can update your name, email and password from My account. You can also ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you
  • Correct anything that's inaccurate
  • Delete your account and personal information
  • Stop sending you marketing email

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under your state's law. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for making a request.

09Children

This site is meant for businesses and working professionals. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we'll post a notice on the site or email account holders.
